At Trader Joe, you will find good products at very reasonable prices. Moreover, if you are interested only in organic food and products, this is the place for you. They have an Italian food section. 

The Whole Food supermarkets are a very nice place to do your food shopping. You will find only high quality natural and organic products. The meat and vegetables are always fresh. They always have an impressive section of cheese. They have real butchers and fish merchants who answer your questions and take your orders.

  • Chicago organic open-air market

The Green City Market (http://chicagogreencitymarket.org/) promotes local and sustainable farmers. You will find there only organic products. It is an outdoor market open through October 31st, Wednesdays & Saturdays from 7.00am to 1.00pm. The outdoor market is located at South end of Lincoln Park between Clark and Stockton. From November, there is an indoor market at the Peggy Notabaert Museum the same days from 8.00am to 1.00pm.  

This covered market will remind you of the well-known covered markets of France. There, you will find local vendors selling quality foods all year round.
