What the school says

"One World International School offers high-quality international education in a nurturing multi-cultural environment at a moderate fee point. Our students come from many countries around the world and they are confident and articulate, often speaking other languages in addition to English.
Our ethos is to deliver a highly personalised education for all students. With fewer than 24 students in every class, our teachers have more one-to-one time with each student to provide feedback and improve learning. We believe in fostering creativity and desire for meaningful connection so that children can flourish into happy and productive adults
One World International School is a special place where every member of our community is valued and respected. This community is at the heart of everything we do: our cultural festivities, our celebrations, our House system and especially in all our classrooms. We understand that one of the most important aspects of learning is the relationship between the teacher and each individual student."

From EC 1 to Grade 5, the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme  (IB PYP) is followed, while Grades 6 to 10 follow the Cambridge IGCSE Programme.

Fees for the 2018 school year range from SGD 17,000 to SGD 20,000 (plus GST), payable in three instalments. There is an application fee of SGD 1,000 (plus GST).

What the Head of School says

"One World International School has had a presence here in Singapore for 8 years and is also part of the Global Schools Foundation.
The school is dedicated to being a truly international school with a diverse student and teaching population. We have a 30 percent cap on any one nationality.
We’re dedicated to our position as a high-quality, moderate-fee international school. That does not mean that we are compromising in any way in our curriculum. We are deeply invested in having all the technology and teaching resources that we need. And we’re also very dedicated to ensuring that we have an international staff of teachers who come with international experience, teachers who are very passionate about what we teach here – the IB PYP Programme and IGCSE leading to IB Diploma.
We try, live, teach and be everything that’s associated with our name. And that covers a whole different range of aspects of who we are as a community here. Being one with the world in terms of our curriculum and having high standards, appreciating nature – we try to reflect that in our environment here. Being really good communicators, creative thinkers, critical problem solvers and also being good collaborators. Those core skills are the things they will need for the future so we build that in into our curriculum.
We are trying to build a community of kindness and nurture and being caring and most importantly bringing a love of being at school here. We want all our children to be really happy and have that eagerness to come to school and feel that they are one with us."
– Michelle Dickinson, Head of School

What the parents say

"We have two boys. Taiju is in Grade 4 and Keiju is in Grade 1. They both enjoy interacting a lot with their teachers and friends, both in and out of classes. The program of the school gives tons of experience for the kids to interact with each other rather than just sitting and listening to their teachers' lectures. Every aspect of OWIS is fun. Teachers, staff, campus, playgrounds – I mean everything. If you visit the school on a weekday, you can really see and feel how much the kids are having fun learning every day."
