Carnevale (February)

Carnevale celebrates the vibrant culture of Adelaide’s Italian community with a variety of food, fashion, music and dance shows. It is a great event for the whole family.

Adelaide Fringe (February/March)

This month-long extravaganza features more than 4,000 artists from around the world performing in marquees, pubs, warehouses, theatres and pop-up venues across the city. The programme includes over 900 different events, so festival-goers have a wide selection.

Adelaide Festival of Arts (March)

This acclaimed cultural event features an array of performances, including opera, theatre, dance and cabaret, as well as visual art forms such as art exhibitions and new media.

Barossa Vintage Festival (April)

A great weekend festival which draws visitors to the Barossa Valley wine region just outside Adelaide. This celebration of the region's food, wine and culture hosts an array of events spread out over several days.

Adelaide Cabaret Festival (June)

This unique public festival featuring top cabaret artists is the largest of its kind in the world. Tickets can be on the pricey side but the festival has loads of entertainment options and offers a not-to-be-missed experience.
